McNurney, inc. specializes in custom estate homes and complex remodels.  Our interior plastering division is well versed in their trade and brings a special  expertise in the age old art form of "Run Mold Plaster",  complex interior architectural elements, hand formed 3/8" radius bullnose corners, and any type restoration of existing interior plaster architectural elements and details.

 

trim001.JPG (10935 bytes) This project was a 22,000 sq ft estate home in Beverly Hills, California.  The designer wanted the look and feel of "Old World" craftsmanship.  We applied hand formed 3/8" radius bullnose corners (vs. suburban track home dimension of  3/4" radius) and hand formed custom plaster coves throughout the residence.

This Art niche was plastered using 3.4 paper backed diamond lath and interior plaster. 3/8" radius hand formed bullnose corners were also specified.

fireplace01.JPG (92562 bytes) Custom plaster Fireplace front. Radius arc above mantel and around fire box were framed using light gauge steel studs and then lathed. Interior plaster was applied.  Mantel was formed using heavy gauge steel framing and then lathed using 3.4 paper backed diamond lath and  then "run mold" details applied.
